For me, art is about dream and honesty. Went through many countries and museums, my soul looking for a body, a face, a pair of eyes. Life is a love story. Tung Lo Tung Lo was so fond of the child’s life that he changed his name to Tung Lo, which means a road taken by a child. Born in Jieyang, Guangdong Province, in 1956, he moved to Hong Kong in 1986. From there he emigrated to the US in 1983. After becoming an American citizen, he moved to France in 1993. Tung’s paintings have been exhibited in many institutes and museums of art. They are about a dream of an ancient culture. Although he roamed about the world, his oriental sentiments are strong and his colours and figures all tell us an oriental legend. |
